Mission
August Martin High School was dedicated to the spirit of a young aviator who overcame obstacles and gained success in his career, while losing his life in the attempt to help his fellow man. This high school is dedicated to the ideals represented by August Martin and provides quality education which meets the needs of all students to live rich and productive lives in a multicultural, democratic society. Our school encourages the growth and development of all students and provides them with the ability to soar.
August Martin High School addresses the needs of its students, encouraging success in the academics, through smaller learning communities, nurturing individual differences, offering programs and resources to meet individual needs. Our ultimate goal is for each student to strive for excellence, both academically and in the world of work. Opportunities are provided for students to develop a comprehensive range of abilities, including the use of technology necessary for successful participation in our society. Students will be encouraged to become life long learners.
