About Us:
Holy Savior Menard is intensely proud of its 6,000 plus alumni.
One of the school’s greatest assets is the achievements of its graduates. Many prominent leaders in the Central Louisiana area are among students nurtured through their crucial adolescent years by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, the Sisters of Divine Providence, and the dedicated lay faculty and staff members at Holy Savior Menard Central High School.
Holy Savior Menard is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Louisiana State Department of Education. The School is affiliated with the National Catholic Educational Association, The National Association of Secondary School Principals, and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Athletic teams participate under the auspices of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.
VISION:
Holy Savior Menard Central High School is firmly committed to fostering the holistic development of each individual as an image of God by:
Offering a curriculum in a disciplined environment that challenges the intellect and instills religious values,
Proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ in a supportive faith community rooted in the Holy Spirit, and
Cultivating Christian character in students, enabling them to lovingly serve their community and all of humankind.
MISSION:
The schools of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Alexandria exist as the Church's response to the Gospel message, "TO TEACH AS JESUS DID." Each school espouses Catholic doctrine and the spirit of Vatican II in worship, community, justice, and social concerns. For a school to be Catholic, it must be seen, and it must see itself as an integral part of the Church's mission to spread God's word and to bring all peoples to Christ, helping them to grow in faith and love.Holy Savior Menard is the only diocesan school in the Diocese of Alexandria.
