The Justine H. Butler Tennis Courts (located behind the old high school and Yanity Gymnasium) are available for public use when Ridgefield Parks & Recreation tennis programs and Ridgefield High School tennis teams are not in session.
We ask that players limit their play time to 60 minutes as a courtesy to their fellow tennis enthusiasts.
Ridgfield Parks & Recreation offers Adult or Youth Tennis Programs. Courts are not available certain times from April 24 to June 12. The courts are not open to the public when a class is being held.
The spring season is a busy time at these courts because the high school tennis teams use them for practice in the afternoons. They are not available to the public from April 17 to May 19 (Monday - Friday 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm).
In the summer, Ridgefield Parks & Recreation runs a camp on the courts and they are not available to the public from June 19 to August 25 (Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm).
