The first years of Malibu High School were exciting and full of challenges. At first, families feared sending their children to an unproven school that had a small curriculum, few sports and a limited arts program. However, over the years, the administration, staff and parents have worked diligently to recruit students, provide the most challenging curriculum, introduce high school sports, and develop world class arts programs. Today, MHS supports 20 different sports teams, 4 different vocal music ensembles, an orchestra, an award winning student newspaper, a thriving theater arts program and Advanced Placement academic, art and music classes.
