At PHS, our commitment is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers, and inspired learners who are prepared to thrive in the twenty-first century. All students are expected to learn to their fullest potential and be actively engaged in the learning process. PHS, in partnering with Apple, provides each student an Apple® MacBook Air which is utilized extensively in instructional activities. Learning experiences are further enhanced by grade level teams in grades 9 and 10 and academy pathways in grades 11 and 12.
The mission of Perkins High School is to graduate individuals prepared for success with strong academic and life skills through a dynamic, comprehensive curriculum developed and delivered by a partnership of family, community and the school district in a safe and caring environment.
