About Us:
University of Wisconsin-Whitewater - For more than 140 years, UW-Whitewater has provided an exceptional learning experience for its students. We're proud of our history and excited about the future. There is much happening on this campus that benefits the educational experiences of our students.
Among the exciting additions to campus is the opening of Timothy J. Hyland Hall, the new home for the College of Business and Economics. Hyland Hall is a modern academic building that brings student learning and hands-on experiences together in one building. It will help us continue our long-held tradition across the campus of faculty who mentor and nurture our students.
Not far from Hyland Hall, a new suite-style residence hall is being built. This facility will provide students with a new choice for on-campus living. It will also allow us to use its many facilities for camps and conferences during the summer. The building promises to be another great addition to our campus.
Our faculty and staff and students continue to excel in research and engagement with the region. During the last academic year our students donated nearly $100,000 and 25,000 hours in service. Our faculty and staff from all four colleges - Arts and Communication, Letters and Sciences, Education, and Business and Economics - continue to blend research and teaching. They are also engaged with outreach and service projects in the surrounding region.
The experience here at UW-Whitewater is rich. We continue to work to provide the best learning experience possible on what is a truly beautiful campus.
